PG II

General:

Phase comparators are two-pole testing units for determining phase equivalence as well as differences in potential.

Description:

The design of phase indicator Type PG II falls in line with VDE 0682, Section 431.

The unit comprises an actuating rod with a probe tip and display unit (part A) and an actuating rod with probe tip for obtaining the comparative value (part B).

The actuating rods A + B are connected by a helix cable that can withstand high voltages. For comparing the phases of two medium-voltage systems, the conductors to be compared are each touched by one of the probe tips. A glow lamp lights up brightly when there is a difference in potential or phase. The double-poled phase comparator is available for the nominal voltages 5 kV, 6 kV, 10 kV, 15 kV, 20 kV, 30 kV.
