Application:
The voltage detectors, Type FL-I, are for single-pole feed and are used to determine whether there is an operating voltage or not. They are voltage detectors designed for application indoors.
Only to be used under dry conditions
The voltage detectors comprise two sections, the display unit with the contact electrode and insulating rod. The two sections are unscrewed for transport.
These voltage detectors do not have their own energy supply (battery) and therefore no own testing capability either.
The functional test should therefore be conducted on a known live conductor before and after each voltage test.
The condition „voltage available" is displayed by three flashing red LEDs.
A black leatherette bag or a steel sheet case is offered to store the voltage detectors.
