Socket module 2.0
Standardized interface for checking the operating status of medium-voltage systems
The socket module is the permanently installed part of a separable voltage testing system. Together with plug-in voltage detectors, the socket module is used to determine and display the operating status of medium-voltage systems in accordance with VDE 0105 Part 1 and 100. The socket module complies with the requirements for voltage detection and indication systems (VDIS) in accordance with IEC 62271-213. The voltage detection systems are capacitively coupled to live parts.
Product features
The socket module is used to determine the absence of voltage in combination with a pluggable voltage indicator or phase comparator in accordance with IEC 62271-215. An interface test, a voltage test and a phase comparison are carried out using a suitable test device (e.g. Horstmann Orion 3.1 or Orion M1). The test device is connected to the LRM measuring sockets.
