The ComPass B combines the functions of a directional short-circuit and directional earth fault indicator in one unit. It is used in medium voltage distribution networks.

The ComPass B combines the functions of a directional short-circuit and directional earth fault indicator in one unit. It is used in medium voltage distribution networks. The voltage is measured by an Integrated Voltage Detecting System, either the WEGA 1.2 C, the WEGA 2.2 C, or the WEGA 1.2 vario device. Voltage tapping is also possible via HR interfaces or on insulators with capacitive coupling (set of measuring lines).
