Question 1: Can you please introduce yourself in 2-3 sentences?

My name is Ganna Shevchenko. After studying logistics, my journey brought me to the purchase department at Horstmann. I have been working here since August 2023 and I really enjoy it.

Question 2: What are your typical tasks?

I see myself as the interface between various departments at Horstmann and our suppliers. My main tasks include the research of
articles and suppliers, offer analysis, price negotiation as well as invoice verification and processing.

Question 3: What are the challenges in your job?

The biggest challenge is to identify and manage supply chain risks, such as delays or price fluctuations. It is important to stay continuously informed about current price developments, but also about product availability and alternatives. Horstmann's quality and reliability are top priorities.

Question 4: What has been your personal highlight at Horstmann so far?

My highlights are the company parties. These are always a great opportunity to celebrate successes together and get to know my
colleagues better.

Question 5: What do you like best about Horstmann?

It's a family-run company with a strong emphasis on family values. I feel respected, I am free to make decisions and I have the opportunity to develop myself further.
